2022 New World Rotary Garden Safari .
The New World Kerikeri Rotary Garden Safari will be held again in its normal weekend – the weekend after Labour weekend, saturday 29th and Sunday 30 October 2022.
Despite the postponement in 2021, brought about by the heavy rain before and over Labour weekend, more than 700 people attended the Safari.
The profit is used by the Rotary Club of Kerikeri for its work in the community, particularly with the schools/young people.
The efforts of the gardeners to recover from the rain was excellent and the Club recognises the work that went in to present a great selection of gardens for last year’s Garden Safari, and we acknowledge their extended commitment to presenting their properties for you to enjoy.

Each year this highlight of the gardening calendar brings together an array of gardens to inspire and delight visitors. This year celebrates the 35th anniversary of this event and the Safari weekend itself represents the culmination of a lot of hard work by a team of dedicated Rotarians and supporters of the Rotary Club of Kerikeri.
Our sincere thanks go to our sponsors, Kerikeri New World and the other sponsor organisations, without whom this event just wouldn’t be possible.
This year we will have an amazing collection of gardens, from petite to grand, mainly urban to entice and entertain. Some are very large gardens and you could easily spend an hour absorbing everything.
Refreshments will be available to purchase in two of the gardens. The cafes will be run by the local community groups who we are happy to help support in their own fundraising ventures.
Your brochure which you get when you purchase a ticket, will give you detailed information, not only about each participating garden but also about the generous sponsors that help make this event a reality.
Kerikeri Rotarians and Friends of the Rotary Club of Kerikeri will be on duty in the gardens, supporting the gardeners and helping you enjoy your visit.
Tickets will be available from our usual sponsoring outlets, (please see tickets page) for the fantastic price of $30, which covers entry to all gardens on both days.
If you are interested in keeping up with the Rotary Club of Kerikeri (or finding out more about what we do), we invite you to visit www.kerikerirotaryclub.org.
Please accept our Club’s sincere thanks for visiting and taking part in the Garden Safari. The funds we raise from this event are used to support local and international community and youth development projects.
We hope you enjoy your Safari weekend and return home safely, full of enthusiasm and new ideas for your own slice of heaven.
