Welcome to the 2018 Kerikeri New World Rotary Garden Safari. This year’s event takes place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October.
Each year this highlight of the gardening calendar brings together an array of gardens to inspire and delight visitors. This year celebrates the 31st anniversary of this event and the Safari weekend itself represents the culmination of a lot of hard work by a team of dedicated Rotarians and supporters of the Rotary Club of Kerikeri.
Our sincere thanks go to our sponsors, Kerikeri New World and the other sponsor organisations, without whom this event just wouldn’t be possible.
This year we will have an amazing collection of 18 gardens, from petite to grand, urban to rural to entice and entertain.
Refreshments will be available to purchase in two of the gardens. The cafes will be run by the local community groups who we are happy to help support in their own fundraising ventures.
Your brochure will give you detailed information, not only about each participating garden but also about the generous sponsors that help make this event a reality.
Don’t forget to fill out the back of your ticket with your details and submit it into the draw to win a fantastic prize courtesy Paper Plus Kerikeri.
Kerikeri Rotarians and Friends of the Rotary Club of Kerikeri will be on duty in the gardens, supporting the gardeners and helping you enjoy your visit.
Tickets will be available from Saturday 22nd September from our usual sponsoring outlets, (please see tickets page) for the fantastic price of $30, which covers entry to all 18 gardens on both days.
Please accept our Club’s sincere thanks for visiting and taking part in the Garden Safari. The funds we raise from this event are used to support local and international community and youth development projects.
We hope you enjoy your Safari weekend and return home safely, full of enthusiasm and new ideas for your own slice of heaven.
